Responsive design is the design of a website that Google prefers based on it being mobile-friendly with the website adapting to fit the device it’s being used on. A responsive design of a website can recognise if a user is on a mobile or desktop device and appropriately enlarge, modify and/or move where elements are on the page to make the site user-friendly for all users.
