What is Link Exchanging?

Link Exchanging, which can be sometimes referred to as reciprocal linking, involves an agreement between two sites to link to each other for the purposes of increasing number of backlinks and generating domain authority.

This is considered a black hat SEO tactic and violates Google’s quality guidelines as these links aren’t generated through relevance but for monetary goals.
